Dozens of visitors fell into a lake after a newly-built footbridge collapsed at a park in Jiujiang City, in east China's Jiangxi Province. Surveillance video recorded the chaotic scenes.
Chinanews reported that the accident happened as people boarded the Sima Ferry in Xihai park on Lushan Mountain.

Park employees launched a rescue operation, throwing life belts into the water. No casualties were reported, but more than ten injured visitors were sent to hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
Park employees said the footbridge was opened on September the 26th, and has a daily capacity of 10,000 visitors.
The cause of the accident is being investigated
